What is digital escrow? IP escrow? Cloud escrow and data escrow?
Digital escrow goes a bit further than software escrow and generally encompasses all digital goods.
Know-how or Intellectual property (IP) escrow is even more general. Examples for digital or IP escrow could be chemical processes; construction plans, including parts lists; specific names of supplies; technical documentation of machines (such as embedded software); or assets such as wind turbines.
Cloud escrow is a further development of the classic software escrow and allows cloud software (for example, an SaaS service) to be effectively secured via escrow.
In conjunction with cloud escrow, but also independent of the cloud, is Data escrow which plays an increasingly important role in digital escrow.
Deposix offers standard contracts for all common escrow models and also always enables individual solutions – flexibility is one of our trademarks
